I'm an extremely open extrovert. I think you may be asking wrong person when it comes to privacy. ^^; Alas I think you should leave your fics public and only lock your private posts. Because how else can you gain new readers? :)
Yup I've thought about it, indeed I want them to be public! but as I already told you*blushes* I don't know how to lock only the private message...Is there an option when you write the post? Oh my! I'm so sorry for all the questions;__; you can hate me if you want!
Do not worry! I always I ask my random f-list members for help with LJ. xD When you write an entry at the bottom next to the 'post to ...' bottom you can choose an option 'show this entry to'. I even tried it once (from what I remember) but as the author I couldn't really judge the effects. ^^; But since a lock appears next to the tittle I guess it works. :D
